A working plan for our partners

The Referral Engine

Hi everyone,

Here is how I see the Referral Engine working. Give it a quick read before our next Zoom so we can hit the ground running.

The vision

Bridge2Sell brings the leads and the first framework for each deal. Together, we connect them to a team that sells, a product that delivers, and the funding that backs it.

How the engine works

  1. Leads

    Bridge2Sell

We generate the leads, prequalify them in our CRM, sort the possible deals into referral categories, and furnish the initial framework for each one.

  2. Sales

    Doug

Doug is in charge of the sale. The team and the platform stay connected so each sale moves cleanly to the next step.

  3. Product

    The referral partner brand

    Championed by Betsy and Team

The deal is delivered under the referral partner's brand and product. That is not Bridge2Sell. We have our own core product, and we won't be selling, delivering, or standing behind this one, because it's not what we do.

  4. Funding and investors

    Veterans Alliance

Veterans Alliance, led by Ryan Hammer, is the funding and investor solution. The sale is handed off to them, and they control the transaction.

Who owns what

In place today

  • The lead engine (Bridge2Sell)
  • A CRM that prequalifies leads and sorts possible deals into referral categories (Bridge2Sell)
  • Doug, to lead the sale
  • Veterans Alliance, led by Ryan Hammer, as the funding and investor solution

Still needed

  • The referral partner brand (Championed by Betsy and Team)
  • A core product for Doug to sell
  • The initial funding terms and the flow toward investors
  • The tech to refer deals from our CRM to the partner platform (Championed by Betsy and Team)

The open decisions

  1. The most important one

    The referral partner brand

    Championed by Betsy and Team

This may be the most important thing to identify and put to rest. Bridge2Sell is our company, so the referral partner needs its own brand. That brand is what our copy and systems will guide our leads toward. Yipi, the name of the platform, is the candidate on the table. Let's decide.

  2. What Doug sells

Doug needs a core product to sell. I've shared exactly what we sell and how we package it. Cheat off our homework and develop something very similar, maybe with more favorable terms based on your funding options.

  3. Funding terms and investor flow (Veterans Alliance)

With Veterans Alliance as the funding and investor solution, we need to define the initial funding, its initial terms, and the initial flow toward investors. The core product gets built around that, so this shapes #2.

  4. The tech hand-off

    Championed by Betsy and Team

We will build the technology to refer deals from the Bridge2Sell CRM to the partner platform, once the platform is settled.

Fast-track

Once the leads, the sales team, and the product are in place, we add gasoline to this engine and let it run.

  1. Get the first couple of deals in as test cases
  2. Break things and fix them
  3. Refine the process as we go

On our next Zoom

These are my thoughts and this is how I see it. I welcome everyone's thoughts and cooperation. Let's fast-track this, get our first handful of deals on the table, and get everybody to a payday so we can all feel good about the direction.

Looking forward to the call.
